FIKIR-FIKIR

That Day (Abdullah ibn `Amr RA)
"If any of you really knew [about that Day], you would plead until your voice went, and pray until your back was broken."

On the Day of Judgment, the servant of Allah will be given his book of deeds, where he finds rewards for things he did not do, so he asks: O My Lord, where did I get these deeds?
So Allah replies to him saying: These are because of the people who backbited you and you did not know about it.
(Abu Umamah al-Bahili)

A man asked the Prophet s.a.w : When is the Day of Judgment, O messenger of Allah? He said: “What have you prepared for it?” He said: “I have not prepared much prayer, fasting, or charity for it, but I love Allah and His messenger.” The Prophet said: “You will be with the ones you love.”

Whoever prefers Allah to all others, Allah will prefer him to others.
(Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah)

Love of Allah is the power of the heart, the sustenance of the heart, the light of the heart.
(Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah)

If the heart is fed by love, the greed for pleasure would disappear.
(Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah)

"If the hearts are pure, they will never have enough from reciting Allah's words (the Qur'an)."
(Uthman ibn Affan)

صلاتي اهم شيء في حياتي
My salah is the most important thing in my life.

Don't be in a hurry when you're praying, don't be in a hurry to leave your qiyam. When a person is in a hurry, Allah says "Where to my servant, somewhere better than Me?" If you still feel harshness of heart, there must be some haram/sin that you're committing. (Prophet Muhammad, may God's peace and blessings be upon him)

O one who has abandoned salah, how can you not pray? And in salah there is atonement for bad deeds, multiplication of good deeds, closeness to the Majestic One, distance from the devil, and expansion and sureness of the breast.
{And indeed by the remembrance of Allah are hearts assured}

Salah and Qiyamah (Ibn al-Qayyim)
"The servant exists between the Hands of Allah at two times--while standing during performing prayer, and while standing on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever fulfills the rights of the first standing will in fact be facilitating the second one. And whoever considers this easy and does not pay due attention to it, he will making the other one difficult for himself."

With every delayed or missed prayer, a hidden battle is being waged: The battle of shaytan. By abandoning the salah, the human being has put down the armor given to them by Allah, and has entered the battle field with no protection. Now shaytan can have full reign. Of this truth Allah says: “And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful – We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.” (Qur’an, 43:36)

Five times a day we must pull away from the dunya to focus on our Creator and ultimate purpose. Five times a day, we detach ourselves from whatever we are doing of worldly life, and turn to God. Prayer could have been prescribed only once a day or week or all five prayers could have been done at one time each day. But it is not. The prayers are spread throughout the day. If one keeps to their prayers at their specified times, there is no opportunity to get attached. As soon as we begin to become engrossed in whatever dunya matter we’re involved in (the job we’re doing, the show we’re watching, the test we’re studying for, the person we can’t get off our mind), we are forced to detach from it and turn our focus to the only true object of attachment.

The first thing which will be judged among a man’s deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the Prayer. If this is in good order then he will succeed and prosper but if it is defective then he will fail and will be a loser.”
(Prophet Muhammad S.A.W)

Allah, Glorified and Exalted, made the prayer a connective case to His closeness, dialogue [with Him], His love, and intimacy with Him.
(Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah)

The most important of your affairs in my view is prayer; whoever prays regularly has protected his faith, but whoever neglects it, is bound to more negligent in other issues of faith.”
(Umar ibn al-Khattab)

Love of Allah is the power of the heart, the sustenance of the heart, the light of the heart.
(Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah)

Allah must be dearer than anything else to the slave, Allah must be more important than all else.”
(Ibn Taymiyyah)

Always Fear Allah & Never Get Disappointed (Abu Bakr as-Siddiq)
Always fear Allah, like if only one person was to go to hell, it could be you. Never get disappointed from Allah, like if only one person was to go to Jannah, it could be You.
