About Life

Narrated by Uqba:
One day the Prophet went out and offered the (funeral) prayer for the people (i.e. martyrs) of Uhud as he used to offer a funeral prayer for any dead person, and then (after returning) he ascended the pulpit and said,
I am your predecessor before you, and I am a witness upon you, and I am
looking at my Tank just now, and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world (or the keys of the world). By Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me, but I am afraid that you will compete with each other for (the pleasures of) this world.
[Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 411]

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
“If Allah wants to do good to somebody, He afflicts him trials”
[Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 70, Number 548]

“O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salāt (prayer). Truly! Allāh is with As-Sābirin (the patient)”
(Qur’an, Al-Baqarah 2:153)

“Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, And be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me.”
[Al-Baqarah 2:152]

” …And never give up hope of Allāh’s Mercy.
Certainly no one despairs of Allāh’s Mercy,
except the people who disbelieve.”
[Quran, Yusuf12:87]

Say: “It is He who has created you (and madeYou grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling
and understanding: Little thanks it is ye give.”
~Surah Mulk 67:23

Muslim (918) narrated that Umm Salamah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah
(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “There is no Muslim who is stricken with a calamity and says what Allaah has enjoined – ‘Verily to Allaah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and compensate me with something better’ – but Allaah will compensate him with something better.”
